General Communications offers quality products and service in the provision of Telephone, Data, Security, CCTV, MATV, Pay TV and Intercom systems to the Electrical Contracting Industry, Builders, Government and Consultants as required.
The Company distributes the Comelit range of products and is the authorised distributor for the South East Queensland, NSW Tweed Head and Northern rivers area.

General Communications is a Molex certified company with certified technicians on staff.

We are also certified for Inner Range for the popular Concept range of products with both certified and advanced technicians.

The Company is headed by Peter Whittle who has had 35 years of experience in the industry, providing similar products and services to the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas since 1982.

Of Italian decent, Comelit has been proven to be a quality range of products, with numerous installations throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast & Australia and offers unique design and labour saving products within it’s range, thus generating substantial savings in the installation process. .

As head of General Communication, Peter has been instrumental in promoting, designing, providing and installing the Comelit product throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas and is able to provide the specialist expert advice that the industry has come to expect.
